Welcome to the new and improved idealworld.tv website, which has been designed with you, the customer, in mind. Based on user feedback we have dramatically changed and updated the website to make your shopping experience easier and more fun. Improvements include:

• The ability to customise your homepage to enable you to go straight to your favourite parts of the website. Categories include Best Sellers, Watch Us Live, New Arrivals and our TV Schedule.
• The option to see your order history and track where your current order is.
• A larger selection of product options, including size guides for many of our fashion and jewellery brands.
• An improved product search.

What's more, there are many more exciting features to come!

The homepage

The homepage is the starting point of your online shopping experience with Ideal World. From this page, you can browse through our entire range by selecting the product category you're interested in. The homepage also contains links to our pick of the day products, best sellers and special offers, as well as customer services/information pages. You can also watch our television shows, by clicking on Watch Us Live. For more information, see Accessing Our TV Channel Broadband Stream. At any point, you can return to the homepage by clicking the ‘home’ link at the top of the page or the Ideal World logo.

How do I search for products?

There are several ways of finding products on idealworld.tv. You can browse products from the last 48 hours of TV shows, click on a category, search for specific products or visit our Brand Shop.

Each time you select a category from the homepage, you will be shown a list of relevant sub-categories and criteria that you can select for further browsing.

For example, the homepage and top navigation bar will display a list of all main product categories, such as Home Electronics, Fashion and Jewellery, etc. When selecting a category, such as Fashion, for example, you will then be directed to the Fashion main page. Here you will find a list of relevant sub-categories and other options to help you find the items you are looking for. For example, you can search for an item of clothing in a particular size or colour, or depending on price.

Search

You can also search for products by name, brand or product number. Just enter the type of product (e.g. ring, jacket or kettle) or the brand name (e.g. Kenwood, Samy or Tefal) into the Product Search box and we'll return all of the products which match your chosen word. Entering a valid product number into this search field will take you straight to that product.

How do I check latest prices and stock availability?

We're always running special offers and clearance sales on selected items, so you might find products are cheaper than you thought! On the homepage you will find our Pick of the Day, a daily special promotion which is offered at an exclusive price. Visit our homepage or tune in to Sky 634, Virgin 747 and Freeview 22 every night, at 9pm, to see our Pick of the Day. In addition, the homepage will feature our weekly special, Pick of the Week, another fantastic promotion. Wherever you see a price advertised on this website, you can be sure it is the latest price available. To discover a product price and availability, simply find the item you want and click on view for up-to-date information.

How do I register?

Registering with us will make your online visits to Ideal World much quicker and easier. To begin the registration process, click on Login or Register at the top of your screen. If you are a new customer, click the Continue button under the heading 'I am a new customer'. You then need to create an account by providing us with your name, address, telephone number, email address and payment information. You will then receive an email from Ideal World, containing your Customer Account Number and PIN, which will enable you to access your account quickly and easily on every visit.

How do I log in to my account on idealworld.tv?

Once you've registered with us, you'll be able to log in to idealworld.tv at any time. Just click the Login or Register link at the top of your screen and enter your Customer Account number and PIN (exactly as emailed to you when you first registered). If you've forgotten your password, contact our Customer Services team. See Contact Us for details.

Logging in makes placing an order even faster and easier than usual, as your delivery details will already be filled in. While logged-in, you can change any of these details as well as any other addresses or details you may have entered previously.

Accessing our TV Channel broadband stream

Ideal World broadcast 24 hours a day from our studios in Peterborough, UK. We offer a variety of download speeds for both low speed broadband user and higher. Unfortunately, this stream is not suitable for traditional telephone modem connections. To view the stream, click on the Watch TV Now link on the left hand side of this web page. In order to use our stream, Flash Player is required and can be downloaded here. You may notice a delay when the stream is starting. This is normal as your PC is connecting to our stream and then buffers several seconds of content to keep the connection as smooth as possible. If you persistently encounter problems accessing our stream, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) should be able to advise you of any potential issues.
