What You Need

  1. Cut a 27cm x 17.5cm panel from white cardstock. Measure across from the left edge to 5cm, 10cm and 18.5cm and score down using a score board or a ruler and scoring tool. Mountain fold (fold upwards) at the 5cm and 18.5cm score lines and valley fold (fold downwards) at the 10cm score line to create a "Stepper Card".

  2. Cut a 17.5cm x 3cm and a 17.5cm x 6cm strip from white cardstock. Tear across the top of the strips to create “snowy layers”. Gently ink around the edges of the strips with the Weathered Wood distress ink to add definition. Stick the strips onto the front step as shown in the photograph with double sided tape, making sure not stick right up to the top.

  3. Cut a Panorama Christmas Tree from green cardstock. Hold the tree over paper and sprinkle white embossing powder onto the tree. Gently heat underneath the tree with a heat gun until the powder melts and turns glossy. Once the tree is cool, tuck and stick the tree into the first snowy layer and on top of the step.

  4. Cut a Next Stop - Christmas Border from green and gold mirror cardstock. Pop out the letters from the green border. Hold the border over paper and sprinkle white embossing powder. Gently heat underneath the border with a heat gun until the powder melts and turns glossy. Once the border is cool, place tape, sticky side up, behind the borders. Stick the gold letters into the front of the border. Stick the border onto the back step.

  5. Cut the Panorama Sleigh from kraft, white, red, burgundy, black and yellow cardstock.

  6. Using the kraft die cut as the base, trim the Mickey and Minnie's shoes from the yellow die cut and stick onto the base. Trim out Mickey's jumper, hat and scarf from the red die cut and stick onto the base. Trim out the fur around their hats, including the bobbles, Minnie's top and Mickey's glove from the white die cut and stick onto the base. Trim out Minnie's hat and scarf from the burgundy die cut and stick onto the base. Trim out the ears, eyes, noses, mouths and hair from the black cardstock and stick onto the base. Trim out the runners from the silver die cut and stick onto the base.

  7. Draw polka dots onto Minnie's top with the red pen and add shadow to the hat glove and shoes with the grey pen.

  8. Cut the Panorama Pluto die from yellow, black white and red cardstock. Using the yellow die cut as the base, trim Pluto's tail, ears, eye, nose and mouth from the black die cut and stick onto the base. Trim the tongue and collar from the red die cut and stick onto the base and stick the white of the eye onto the base.

  9. Wrap red cotton round Pluto's neck and stick the sleigh onto the left side of the card as shown in the photograph. Stick Pluto to the right side of the card. Stick the thread behind the sleigh.
