1. Autumn leaf wreath

Channel the most beautiful part of autumn to create a stand-out design. All you'll need is some florist wire, leaves and some glue to make this simple project. Adhere the leaves to the wire, adding as many as you like, then tie a piece of ribbon around the top-centre of your make before hanging it.

2. Paper leaf wreath

If you're not lucky enough to have an abundance of trees in close proximity to collect leaves, then simply die cut as many as you want. You'll be able to decorate each leaf to for a truly original project. You could also add distress ink and gold glitter glue for a shimmering final touch. Next, cut the centre out of a paper plate, using the outer ring as your wreath form, then glue your leaves on to finish.

3. Felt flower wreath

Making flowers from scratch will add a new dimension to your home décor. All you'll need is various coloured felt and a vine wreath, either shop-bought or handmade with grape vines. Once your flowers are ready, adhere them to your wreath to finish.

4. Embroidery hoop wreath

If you've got plenty of embroidery hoops lying around, why not re-purpose one to hang in the home? Glue faux berries and dried wheat at an angle for a creation that your guests will really love. If you'd like to add a lovely glow, go the extra mile and wrap a few battery-operated lights around your finished project.

5. Red apple wreath

Design a delicious-looking door hanging with the use of fake red apples, which will lend themselves to a striking, royally red creation. Gather a few essentials: a polystyrene wreath, burlap fabric, a hot glue gun and various size faux apples. Wrap your wreath frame with the fabric, before gluing your apples, and once dry it will be ready to hang!
