Have a look through our list of fruity treats and see if any catch your eye.

9 Fun Fruit-Themed Makes You’ll Love to Craft

1. Trinket Boxes

A simple fruit-themed coat of paint can make your storage pots and jars a lot more fun and quirky. Plus, if you're feeling really creative, you could use craft clay like our White Silk Clay (485088) to make leafy lids that will complete the look. They're perfect for keeping your embellishments and little craft supplies in

2. Straw Umbrellas

These sweet little umbrellas are reminiscent of hot summer holidays in faraway countries, and are sure to make any drink that extra bit special. Pick up a pack like Colortime's A4 Card and have a go at making them yourself. They look best with brightly coloured plastic straws, but you could opt for reusable metal or bamboo ones to be more eco-friendly.

3. Plant Pots

There's nothing more uplifting in a home than bright, quirky plant pots. Helen Kirkham has put together a sweet melon-themed tutorial for you to try here, but you can easily switch out the colours to make an orange, lime or lemon pot. Why not paint a whole fruity set?

4. Pouches

These adorable melon dyed pouches are great for storing your favourite pair of sunglasses or gifting little presents to friends and family. You could even apply the same design to napkins and a table runner to make a cute matching set for summer parties and get-togethers.

5. Painted Rocks

WWhile simple, these sweet painted rocks make great paperweights or mantlepiece decorations, and they’d look fantastic positioned around your garden, too. Best of all, it’s an easy, inexpensive craft that you can get the kids involved in. Simply pick up a set of paints, such as A-Color’s Acrylic Paint, and get colouring!

6. Pom-pom Keyrings

Pom-poms are fun for the whole family, and these fruity designs will look great hanging from a handbag or rucksack. Despite how they might look, all of the pom-poms are pretty simple to make – just make sure to use a pom-pom maker for ease, and take your time trimming the finished shapes.

7. Coasters

These cute citrus coasters will keep your table safe from stains and marks, all while adding a fun, whimsical atmosphere to your kitchen and living room. Why not give them a try yourself, using a collection like our 20cm x 30cm Felt Sheets – you can get really creative with the colours and types of fruit.
