This project from Shabneez shows how you can make a stunning Easel Card. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to add some complexity, you can go on to make the Triple Easel Die Card.

Time to Make: 30 minutes to make the Easel Die Card (An hour for the Triple Easel)

Skill Level: Part One - Beginner/Intermediate (Part Two - Advanced)

Easel Die Card (Part 1) Instructions:

  1. Take a piece of card that fits your die and score in half.
  2. Place your die on the card base with the fold at the top and ensure that part of the die at the top is not on the card
  3. Put through your die cutting machine so you get this.
  4. Score in half.
  5. Fold over.
  6. Die cut another shape the same size. I have used a sheet from the paper pad and adhere.
  7. Select parts of from the Hey Baby Decoupage and stick on with double sided foam tape.
  8. Die cut a smaller shape from the paper pad to add as the base and a smaller shape which will act as the stopper which you adhere with foam.
  9. Assemble the card adding a sentiment from the decoupage pack and gems to finish.

Triple Easel Die Card (Part 2) Instructions:

  1. Do steps 1-5 above.
  2. Repeat steps above with smaller dies.
  3. Once assembled add the other 2 mini easels to the largest one so that each easel acts as a stopper for the one prior to it.
  4. Side view so you can see how they fit.
  5. Finish with a small die cut as the stopper as above and decorate as you please.
