Gift Envelope Project with Vikki Gorham

You will need:

  • 12x12 paper of your choice
  • Tape pen
  • Ribbons of your choice
  • Gift tag

Time to Make: >1 hour

Skill Level: Beginner

You Might Need:

Instructions:

  1. Take your 12x12 paper and fold it in half (in a rectangle shape). Use a bone folder to crease the paper.
  2. Unfold the paper, rotate and fold in half again, using the bone folder to crease the paper.
  3. You have now created a centre point.
  4. Bring each of the 4 outer points into the centre point
  5. Use your bone folder to create sharp folds.
  6. You should now be left with a square folder.
  7. Turn this over and fold in half so that the flaps are on the outside.
  8. To secure the wallet, using the double sided tape, tape along the two short edges and secure both sides together.
  9. Insert your gift/message into each side of the wallet that you have created.
  10. Now you can use ribbons and tags of your choice to close the wallet and embellish it further.
  11. Theme the wallet however you wish for any occasion.
