  1. Alternative Holly Frame Cut a square out of green card measuring 200mm, one out of red measuring 190mm and one out of white measuring 180mm.

Cut a rectangle out of green card measuring 45mm by 95mm, one out of red measuring 35mm by 85mm and one out of white measuring 25mm by 75mm.
  2. Alternative Holly Frame Add all pieces of image AR-1005 to your mat, resize one leaf to 42mm by 43mm, one to 51mm by 49mm and one to 52mm by 47mm.

Resize two of the berries to 18mm by 18mm and the third to 14mm by 14mm. Cut each leaf three times out of green card and each berry three times out of red card.

Glue the three layers together of each leaf and each berry.
  3. Alternative Holly Frame Add a thin white line to the berries, then add glossy accents to each leaf and berry.

    Helen’s helpful hint!
When adding the glossy accent use a pin to pop any air bubbles before it dries.
  4. Alternative Holly Frame Using font FO-A003 add ‘Christmas’ and ‘2018’ separately to your mat, put 2018 under Christmas and then select both and centralise vertically.

Group them together and resize to 20mm by 70mm, and select the fill in feature.
  5. Alternative Holly Frame Draw the words on the white rectangle you cut earlier.

Mat and layer the green, red and white squares together and then mat and layer the green, red and white rectangles together.

Glue the holly leaves, berries and pegs to the square, using foam tape add the Christmas sentiment and then attach two pegs to the sentiment.

    Add to box frame.
  6. Alternative Holly Frame On the ScanNCut move the resized berries and leaves, with the berries in the centre and the leaves around the outside of the berries.
  7. Alternative Holly Frame Group all the images together and resize to 48mm by 49mm. Duplicate fifteen times, go to settings and select cut area and select 190mm by 210mm of the mat.

Go back to the mat and select the image arrange button, this will arrange the images in to the cut area.
  8. Alternative Holly Frame Ungroup the holly leaves and berries, then select only the berries and group together.

Save the image to your ScanNCut memory, delete the berries from the mat, and draw the leaves with a green pen.

Go back to the saved image and this time remove the leaves and draw the berries with a red pen.

Remember not to remove the mat in-between the two drawings. .
  9. Alternative Holly Frame Cut a square out of the drawn background measuring 180 mm. This will replace the plain white paper on the beginner frame.
