Mini album

Mini album

“A mini album for you to make for your photos and memories.” - Denise Holmes

You will need:

  • A2 Card
  • Jumbo Foam Roll
  • Create and Craft Tape Runners
  • 6 x 12 x 12 papers of your choice, to include elements you can cut out to decorate or use items from your stash to match your chosen colours/project.
  • Wet Glue or double sided tape to stick the album together.
  • Inks to match the papers of your choice for inking edges of pages.

Time to Make: 1-2 Hours

Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate

  1. Take your A2 card and cut two strips measuring 18 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
  2. Hello stained glass window card Fold each strip in half then fold the outside edges back into the middle to form an M' shape.
  3. Hello stained glass window card Stick the middle pieces of the M together forming a 'T' shape.
  4. Now, take the loose side from one and the loose side from the other and stick together.
  5. Hello stained glass window card Cut a strip of card measuring 2 inches wide by 6 inches long and use this as the spine for your album.
  6. Once you have adhered the spine your album is now constructed.
  7. Hello stained glass window card Now for the fun part! Using your papers, cover the album with papers then decorate either with embellishments or papers and phrases.
  8. Hello stained glass window card I kept it reasonably simple, inking around the edges of the pages, I cut a couple of pocket shapes out and made a tag from the papers, and to finalise I doodled on some pages with a white pen.
  9. Hello stained glass window card I decided to make my album family themed but you can of course choose any papers and photos you wish to suit your theme.
