Trying to achieve even wrapped buttons can take a lot of practice, especially when trying to achieve a six or eight point design - these gauges have been developed to help!
As an added bonus, they are perfect for marking tassels and Temari balls and can even be used to create a seam allowance around pattern pieces.
This set contains seven acrylic gauges in a variety of sizes, with engraved lines dividing each circle and in a little organza bag for storage.
There's now no need to struggle to create an even Death's Head button as you can now mark the divisions before you begin wrapping!
- Helps to create even sets of buttons
- Great for marking tassels and other items before embellishing
- Each gauge has a protective film that should be removed prior to use so that you can see through the gauge - however the gauges can be used even with the film

How to Use
How to use the gauges:
Remove protective sheeting from the discs and use to mark even divisions (in multiples of 4, 6, 8 or 12) onto button moulds for perfect thread placement.
Simply place a domed mould over a larger sized hole and mark the edge of the mould, or place a smaller one over a flat button mould.
These can also be used to mark divisions on tassels and other small sewing projects, and to mark gaps when hand embroidering around circles (such as when decorating Temari balls)
They can even be used to create a seam allowance by placing a pencil into the hole and drawing around the shape required.
