  • Craft Consortium Watercolours Essential Paper Pad
  • Black Card
  • An old book

Die cut four 6” circle from black card and stick together to form a sturdy base.

Die cut leaves using the Sizzix Tattered Leaves Bigz die out of an old book. Take 3 colours of distress oxide ink and put onto a kraft sheet then add a spritz of water and mix with the back of a paint brush.

Dip the leaves into the ink and leave aside to dry.

Take 3 sheets of paper from the Craft Consortium Watercolours Pad and cut two pieces to 3” x 6” and the other to 4 ½ “ x 6“.

Take one of the pieces of paper and adhere red liner tape to one side. Take your candle and roll around it and stick down making sure it the candle can still come out so you can switch it on and off. Do the same for the other 2 sheets of paper.

Cut a small sheet of paper to 3” x 1 ½ “ and fold at ½” on both sides before adding glue and sticking inside your candle tube. Do the same for the other candles. This will ensure your candle doesn’t fall into the tube.

Cut ½ “ slits from the bottom of the candle tubes all the way around and fold down.

Cut 3 die cut rings from circular dies which are 1 ¼” and 1 5/8”. Slip over the candles and stick to the base.

Arrange your candles on the base and stick down with glue then adhere the inked leaves to finish.
