You Will Need:

  • Printed Bow Tie Template (Download Here)
  • Printed Beard Template (Download Here)
  • Dowel Rods
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • A4 300gsm Cardstock (colours and designs optional)
  • Pencil (to draw around the templates)
  • Pens, Pencils, Glitter or Paints (to decorate)

How To:

  1. Print out the bow tie and beard templates and then cut them out. Draw around the templates using a pencil. You can draw the designs onto plain white card or any other card you prefer. (Tip: you could use coloured card to create the beard and patterned card to create the bow tie.) Create enough bow ties and beards so the whole family can join in!

  2. Using whichever medium you prefer (such as pens, pencils, paints or glitters), create fun designs on the props. You have creative freedom here, so let your imagination go wild! (Remember, if you’re using wet materials, you’ll need to leave the props to dry completely before moving on to the next stage.)

  3. Using tape, secure each beard and bow tie to a dowel rod, and then let the fun begin!
