Birthday Fishes Card

What You Need

Materials:

  • Signature Dies - Ocean Corner SD366
  • CD-Rom - One Summers Day
  • Tonic Circle Layering Die Set 359688
  • A4 acetate
  • A4 card – bronze, old gold, white & green
  • 15cm square card blank – white
  • Glue or d/s sticky tape, Foam Pads, glue gel
  • Pearl drops

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of white card to measure 13.5cm square and mat onto bronze card. Fix to the card blank.

  2. Cut a circular frame from bronze card with the external measurement of 12cm diameter and an internal aperture of 10.5cm.

  3. Cut a circle of acetate to measure 12cm in diameter and glue behind the frame you have just made.

  4. Print the beach scene paper from the cd onto white card and cut a circle of the sky to measure 12cm in diameter.

  5. Die cut the ocean corner in green and old gold and glue the plants to the bottom of the circle as shown, trimming off any bits overhanging the edge.

  6. Use foam pads to add the fish to the panel and then add bubbles using the pearl drops. Allow the drops to dry.

  7. Use foam pads to fix the acetate frame over the fish panel.

  8. Take the circle which was cut out of the frame aperture and cut two semi circles from it. Layer together using foam pads and attach to the base of the frame.

  9. Use glue gel to attach the completed tank to the card blank.

  10. Use your computer to print off a sentiment of your choice, mat onto bronze card and add to the top of the tank. Finish by adding pearl drops to the sentiment panel.
