The beauty of cardmaking as a pastime, is that no two cards you make will ever be quite the same… there are so many stunning ways to fold, present and embellish a card, that you’re always spoilt for choice! This elegant easel card is ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, stationery and more, and is designed to stand beautifully to attention on any mantelpiece; simply choose your sentiment to suit the occasion!
Cut score and fold white cardstock to create a 15 cm square card. Fold the front in half to create an easel.
Cut three squares in white card; 14cm, 12cm and 10cm square. Spray with rose fleurs ink..
Cut two squares using the pink topsy turvy card, one measuring 13cm x 13cm and one measuring 11cm x11cm.
Starting with the largest, mat and layer the squares using foam tape to create a topper, alternating the colours as in the example photograph.
Attach the topper to the base of the card as shown.
Create a chocolate box bow from pink ribbon and attach to the base of the card to form a stopper.
Stamp a sentiment on to super smooth card trim to form a tag shape and glitter the edges.
To make the flower, cut two of the main clematis die and one stamen in white flower forming card.
Spray the flowers with water and add colour using the clean color pens.
Cut one of the quilling stamen strips and colour with yellow, roll up using a quilling tool and secure with a dot of glue.
While the flower petals are damp, twist the petals with a pair of tweezers to shape them.
Dry and glue using a hot glue gun, add the stamens to the centre of the flower.
For the leaves, cut 1 green flower and cut into individual petals, shape and glue to the flower.
Add the flower and the tag to the card topper.
