This Peacock design is what’s known in the Couture world as a “Topper or Edger”—you have the ability to cut the design partially from your cardstock to be an Edger, or in combination with the companion die to create a Topper. Created by Sara Naumann.
The die-cutting steps are shown on plain white matte cardstock.
Place the Peacock Edger die onto the pink Satin cardstock. Secure in place with low-tack tape.
Run through the die-cutting machine and remove the die.
Use scissors to snip away the top and bottom portions of the cardstock. Place the Peacock die on the cardstock, positioning it along the cut Edger area. Secure in place.
The peacock will be perfectly cut along the edges.
The detail is remarkable!
Use a pokey tool to remove the “innies” from the die-cut piece and from your die.
Die-cut two arches from brown Flecks of Foil cardstock.
Glue the Arches and the Peacock onto pink Topsy Turvy cardstock. Mount on pink Satin, then on white and brown card. Glue to the front of a card blank. Accent with ribbon and pearls.
