Crystal Tree Charms by Sarah Millsop

You can attach these Crystal Tree Charms to ear wires, use them as tree decorations, embellish and personalise your gift-wrapping or add to wire loops for festive wine glass charms.

However you choose to finish your pieces, you will have fun creating them with these gorgeous crystals from Riverside Beads. It’s a nice project for beginners, or for more advanced crafters who may wish to create ‘wrapped loops’. Your kits will make several charms.

  1. Thread the cube on to the head pin followed by the dagger crystal (thicker end first). Add the star and push them all the way to the bottom. Make sure the head pin enters the star between two points so it is the right way round.

  3. Bend the pin to 90 degrees directly above the star and trim to leave a 1cm length of pin.

  5. Use round-nosed pliers to loop the pin around the pliers, back towards the beads. The loop should sit directly above the star and should be nice and tight to hold the beads in place like a stopper.

  7. If adding the charm to ear wire, lift one side of the loop and twist and close the loop back again for a secure and neat finish.
