Method

Use your die cutting machine to cut 2 scallop ovals in white card and 2 smaller ovals in blush card.

1

Die cut 3 circles which are 7cm in diameter. One circle from acetate and the other 2 from white card. In one circle add a 5cm die inside the larger circle die to create a circle border as shown. These will all form the shaker element of the card.

2

Stick the acetate to the ring circle you have created. I used red liner tape as I find it sticks well to acetate.

3

Add shaker foam tape around the circle or any foam tape you have but it should be at least 3mm in height. Add your shaker elements to the middle. I’ve used a mixture of glitter.

4

Take off the tape on the foam pads and stick the white 7cm circle on top of the shaker element you have just created.

5

Die cut 2 hearts approximately 2cm in height from blush card. Stick 2 pieces of baker twine on 1 heart for the whiskers and stick the other heart on top.

6

Stick the nose and 2 small die cut hearts from black card to the shaker circle.

7

Make a fishtail banner by cutting a piece of blue card to 9cm x 7cm and cut a slit on the short side from the middle 2cm in height. Cut from each side to the middle so you cut away a triangle in the middle. Wind bakers twine around the top of the fishtail and finish with a bow.

8

Stamp out ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ and die cut the letters Easter from black card.

9

Assemble the card by sticking paper to your 5” x 7” white card blank, stick on the Fishtail to the top left hand side of your card and the stamped sentiment and Easter along the bottom. Finally stick on the bunny shaker.

Tip: If you don’t have dies then you can just draw around objects to get your shapes!

10

All finished.
