What You Need

You Will Need:

  • White Card Blank
  • Love Santa Collection
  • Felt
  • Thread
  • Buttons and embelishments
  • Stuffing

Instructions:

  1. Cover an A5 card blank with Love Santa paper and round the corners. Cut a 15.4cm tall Christmas tree template from spare cardstock and use to cut an aperture in the card front. Punch a hole just above, using a screw hole punch. Trim a sheet of white cardstock a little smaller than the card and mount on top. Re-punch the hole.

  2. Use the template to cut the tree shapes from various colours of felt, using the image for reference. Stitch the elements in place with green embroidery thread, as well as a few buttons to embellish. Back with a second felt tree and sew around the outer edge, leaving a gap free. Fill with stuffing and stitch closed. Secure a strand of Christmas lights trim with tiny stitches, and sew a gold bell at the top.

  3. Thread some green embroidery thread through the loop in the bell and tie the tree into the aperture through the punched hole. Finish with a red velvet bow.
