Why not brighten someone’s day with a beautiful flower pot that won’t need watering! This also has a space to add a gift card to make it extra special.
Cut a sheet of white card to 10.5cm x 28cm and score on the long side at 10cm, 12.5cm, 15cm and 25cm.
Fold the score lines as shown.
Punch the top part with a rounded corner punch. Draw a line 1.5cm from the right hand side towards the middle of the card and from that point to the top right of the card. Do the same on the left hand side and cut both lines to form your flower pot.
Use your blending brush and Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink to colour in top of the flower pot.
Cover the bottom part of the pot with your stencil and blend ink through it. At the end just go around the edges with your blender brush.
Add red liner tape to the top of the pot and stick the piece down.
Stick red liner tape on the inside edges of the flower pot only ensuring there is enough space to insert the gift card element.
Take another sheet of card 6.5cm x 18cm and score on the long side at 3cm. Fold up and add red liner tape just on the edges so your gift card fits in the gap.
Stamp all your leaves with Green Oasis Versafine Clair Ink and all the flowers with Monarch Versafine Clair Clair Ink. Then use your Zig Clean Colour pens and a water brush to colour in the images before cutting out.
Stamp the ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment on a piece of kraft card 7.5cm x 1.5cm and cut a point.
Arrange the flowers and the sentiment on the strip of card with the gift card on and stick with glue. Slot into the pot.
You now have your final creation. Perfect to hold gift cards.
