Add extra flair to a greeting card with your TODO machine
Allow the machine to heat up and place the chosen metal template face in the centre of the hotplate. Cut a piece of foil slightly larger than the motif and place over the template, dull side facing up.
Let the foil heat up, then lay completely flat before laying a piece of card over it with the A plate on top. Set the roller pressure to around 2-3 and run the carriage over the stack. Remove layers and peel away foil carrier film to reveal the design. Cut with a corresponding die if desired.
Create a square blank, then edge with metallic tape to complement the foil design. Die-cut and layer doily motifs in co-ordinating colours, then add a letter pressed sentiment to the centre. Place the hot foiled motif towards the bottom of the card using foam pads.
