What You Need

You will need:

  • Magnolia Lane embossing folder
  • Alphabet embossing folder
  • Pearls
  • Pigment ink-pads
  • Pale Pink, Blue, Cream and Gold Card
  • A5 blank
  • Ribbon
  • Foam pads
  • Adhesives
  • Die-Cutting Machine

Method:

  • 1

Ink up the inside front of the alphabet embossing folder with red pigment ink and carefully place an A5 sheet of pale pink card inside. Run the folder through your die-cutter with the appropriate plates to print and emboss the design.

  • 2

Allow the ink to dry before trimming the card to the edges of the embossing. Mount the printed panel onto blue card with a narrow border and fix onto the centre of an A5 blank.

  • 3

Stamp a doily corner four times onto cream card leaving space between each image. Use the co-ordinating die to cut each print out, then fix to the corners of the card. Cut four more doily corners from cream card and fix to the centre of a 7.5cm diameter circle cut from gold.

  • 4

Cut a full doily from blue card and layer on top. Stamp a red doily design onto cream card and cut into a 3cm circle. Fix onto the centre of the doily with foam pads and place the completed rosette towards the top of the card.

  • 5

Stamp out your sentiment onto cream card, trim into a neat rectangle and mount onto blue card. Fix this at the bottom of the card with foam pads. Add flat-backed pearls to the rosette design with pva glue.
