Tools and materials required

  • Brother Scan and Cut
  • Pastel purple, pink, blue, yellow and hot pink card
  • Pinflair bookbinding glue
  • Foam tape
  • Ephemera Cutting Craftorium USB
  • 6 inch Box frame

Using the outside edge of butterfly 1 from the USB resize to 1 by 1 inch and cut out 10 butterflies using each of the pastel colours.

Cut a square measuring 6 by 6 inches out of the hot pink card. Glue 6 of the butterflies out of each colour to the pink card.

Add ‘HOME’ using F0-A001 to your mat, resize to 2.15 by 9.65 inches and cut out of Kraft card. Then use the remaining 4 butterflies of each colour and glue to the letters. Cut a square measuring 6 by 6 inches out of acetate and using foam tape add the letters to it. Add the two squares to the box frame.

Helen’s Helpful Hint: Use a box frame that you can take the wooden insert out, then place the acetate square in, then replace the wooden insert and add the hot pink square so that it looks like the ‘HOME’ is floating above the butterflies.
