This project shows how you can make a beautiful and very on trend piece of artwork to hang in your home with Screen Sensation new stamping system. The versatile, multipurpose inks can not only be used on cardstock for the frame but the design can be replicated on to fabric and easily become a cushion front.
Tape the Screen Sensation Stamping Adapter Plate to the back of the frame exactly as you would do if you were using a screen. Place the cardstock in the Screen Sensation unit and use a small piece of tape to hold it to the base so that it doesn’t move. Position the stamps for the text using the grid that comes in the kit, the text should read backwards. Use the sponge to ink the stamps with the black ink, put the frame in the unit and close the lid to stamp the text. Press firmly so that the surface of the stamp prints well, however if you miss a little bit, simply re-ink the stamps and stamp again, Leave to dry.
Lightly draw a circle around the text, I drew around a plate. Position the leaf stamps around the line.
Close the lid of the Screen Sensation unit to pick up the stamps, remove the frame from the unit and ink the stamps using the sponge with both shades of green.
Repeat on the opposite diagonal side of the circle.
Place the flower stamps between the stamped leaves and repeat step 3, this time using the Raspberry ink. Leave to dry.
Highlight the edges of the flowers with the glue pen and sprinkle with glitter.
Return the work to the Screen Sensation unit and place the Rare Earth leaf vine on the remaining visible pencil line. Repeat step 3, this time ink the stamp with the black ink pad. Allow the ink to dry and lightly colour the leaves with the green pencil.
Rub out any pencil lines before mounting your artwork in the frame.
