Additional Fabrics Needed
Cut 7 strips using GO! Strip Cutter-2¼" (1¾" Finished) (55053) for binding
Binding: ¾ yard
Backing: 3 3/4 yards
Batting: Twin Size
Join one print square (Shape 2) and one white square (Shape 2) together and press.
Make 16 units with each fat quarter color for a total of 192 units.
Press all seams open and use ¼” seams, unless otherwise indicated.
Stitch two like units from Step 1 together to make a 4-Patch unit and press. You should have a total of 8—4-Patch units of each fat quarter fabric. Make 96 total.
Make 8 units of each fat quarter fabric.
Join one white HST (Shape 3) and one print HST (Shape 3) together and press open.
Make 8 units with each fat quarter color for a total of 96 units
Make 96 units total (8 units from each color).
Join one unit from Step 2 and one unit from Step 3 making sure to select fabric from the same fat quarter fabric units together as shown. Make 8 units from each fat quarter color for a total of 96 units. Press.
Make a total of 96 units
Join 2 like units from Step 4 togther to make a total of 48 blocks. You should have a
total of 4 like blocks of each fat quarter color for a total of 48.
Press. Make 48 blocks.
Assemble the Quilt Top: Lay out all the blocks into 8 rows of 6 blocks. Move the blocks around until you are happy with the lay out. Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, stitch each row together making sure to keep the order and then again replace each row back into the original position until all the rows are stitched.
Sew each row to the next, pressing in between until all the rows are together.
Quilting and Finishing: Layer quilt top with batting and backing.
Pin or baste layers together.
Quilt as desired
Attach bias binding, mitering the corners.
