Add a kaleidoscope of colour to your next cardfront, with this gorgeous cardmaking project! With a little help from your Memory Box Dies, you can produce stunning layered toppers with ease.
Cut an 8 ½ x 11” sheet of white card stock in half lengthwise. Fold panel in half to create a 4.25 x 5.5” card base.
Trim a panel of white card stock slightly smaller than the card base. Using any of the Kaleidoscope Layering Dies, cut a circle in the top of the panel leaving room for a stamped sentiment along the bottom of the card. (Save the white die cut for a different project.)
Stamp a sentiment along the bottom of the card panel.
Adhere a piece of gold glitter paper behind the panel to fill the die cut circle and then attach the panel to the card base.
I wanted a rainbow look for my card so I selected several different colours of card stock.
Die cut the Kaleidoscope Layer A from red and aqua card stock.
Die cut the Kaleidoscope Layer B from yellow and green card stock.
Die cut the Kaleidoscope Layer C from orange and blue card stock.
Insert the Layer C die cuts inside the circle opening in the white card stock panel. Use liquid glue to allow more time to move the die if necessary so the star will be straight in the center. Tip: Cover the die cuts with an acrylic block to hold them in place while the adhesive dries. Note that the bitty star in the center is red. When the completed Kaleidoscope is assembled the outer ring will be red also.
Adhere the Kaleidoscope Layer B die cuts (yellow and green) over the Layer C die cuts on the card panel. Use an acrylic block to weight the dies while the adhesive dries.

Embellish with gold enamel dots or sequins.
