Lavender Greeting Card

You will need:

  • Card: blank, lilac, white, brown, green, yellow
  • Dies: Tattered Lace, Summertime Flower Cart
  • Distress ink
  • Sentiments
  • Embellishments: gems, ribbon, lace
  • Foam pads
  • Adhesives

Method:

    Create a 12cm x 14.5cm side folding card blank, then cut a 11.5cm x 14cm lilac card, and a 10cm x 12.5cm floral paper. Mount the paper onto a 10.5cm x 13cm white card, then glue onto the lilac background.

    Attach a length of ribbon to lace, fix onto the card securing the ends at the back. Glue the panel to the front of the card. Die-cut a pierced oval from white card and dust distress ink around the edges.

    Use the Summertime Flower Cart to die-cut a cart from brown and green card, then glue together as shown. Stick it to the oval and fix onto the card with foam pads.

    4 Die-cut flowers from white, lilac and yellow card. Assemble them in a bunch, glue to the cart and add gems to the centre of each motif.

    Tie a bow with lilac ribbon, glue to the left side of the border and use foam pads to attach a sentiment, then add gems to the corners to finish.
