Instructions:

  1. Cut a piece of silver mirror board about a quarter of an inch smaller than the 6 x 8 card blank, then cut a piece of glitter card about a quarter of an inch smaller than the silver mirror board. Finally, cut a piece of jewelled card the same size as the glitter card.

Use the 6 x 4 inch die to cut out an aperture in the jewelled card, leaving a larger border at the bottom of the frame. Next, attach the acetate to the frame using the tape pen, and attach shaker foam around the back of the frame on all four sides.

  2. Using the white card, die-cut the cake and sentiment. Next, cut the flames of the candles out of gold mirror card. Using sticky dots, attach these to the mirror card, and trim with scissors.

  3. Using the tape pen, layer the mirror card and glitter card on to the card blank, and use the pokey tool (or hole punch if you have one) to create a hole for the lights one and a half inches in from the side and bottom of the card (through all layers).

Push the lights through the hole to the front of the card, and put a piece of red tape on the back of the switch, to attach to the inside of the card.

  4. Use a small piece of red tape to secure the lights to the front of the card, then peel off the backing on the shaker foam and attach the frame to the card. Use red tape to attach the main topper to the card, and use shaker foam to attach the sentiment.
