You Will Need:

  • Paisley Pop patterned papers
  • Black card
  • Embossing folder
  • ScanNCut, dies or stamps
  • Buff it from Pinflair
  • Foam pads
  • PVA Glue
  • Black chisel end pen
  • White gel pen
  • die-cutting machine (to fit A4 card)

  1. Cut a 5 1/2” (137mm) heart from the middle of an 8” (200mm) black card. Cut a 6” (150mm) heart from black card.

  2. Use the white pen to add faux stitching around the outer edge of the base card and the heart aperture.

  3. Choose three sheets of patterned papers and cut them vertically in to 1/2” (13mm) strips. Edge each strip with a black pen. Starting vertically, glue a strip to the middle of the 6” (150mm) heart. Glue the rest of the strips until the heart is covered. Let this dry and then trim away any excess paper.

  4. Put the front of the base card inside the embossing folder and run this through the die-cutting machine. Gently rub the Buff-it on to the embossed detail.

  5. Cut, draw or stamp the words LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH on to strips of patterned paper and trim them down so they have a narrow border around the edge.

  6. Edge the papers with the black chisel pen. Mat these on to black card and trim leaving a narrow border and faux stitch around the edge with the white pen.

  7. Glue the paper covered heart to the back of the heart aperture. Add the word panels to the front using foam pads.
