“Acrylic paints are a staple in many crafters stash and they’re very useful if you need a card in a hurry. This painted card is very easy to create with just three complimentary colours. The result is a truly unique paint effect, perfect for any occasion.” - Sarah Jackman-Read
Cover your work surface with sheet of plastic or acetate then lay a piece of watercolour card on top. Choose three colours of paint.
Dot blobs of each colour across the top of the card. Trim a 4cm strip of watercolour card.
Place the strip of card just above the paint, hold it at an angle towards you then pull down the paint, moving it side to side slightly.
Take a piece of tissue paper, scrunch it up then pat over the paint to create a distressed effect. Leave to dry.
Once dry, die-cut the sentiment through the area of the card you like best then trim to your preferred size.
Trim black card 2cm bigger than the painted card then layer the painted card on top with foam pads.
Die-cut foliage in white card then adhere around the sentiment. Adhere to a card blank then finish with pink adhesive gems.
