You will need:

  • Creative Crafting World Pack of 20 8” x 8” Cards and Envelopes
  • The Paper Boutique Doily Cutting Die Collection - Choice of 4
  • The Paper Boutique Flowers and Leaves Cutting Dies
  • Lynda Chapman’s world of Paper Black Card 200gsm 100 x A4 Sheets
  • Lynda Chapman’s World of Paper Portofino Collection 200gsm 100 x A4 Sheets
  • 2 x A4 sheets of striped paper or any other pattern you wish
  • 1 x A4 sheet of plain paper to co-ordinate with the striped paper
  • Glue
  • Foam pads
  • Black pearls

Instructions:

  1. Open the 8” x 8” card facing up and place the large matt die from the Paper Boutique Doily Collection in the centre of the front of the card. Secure with low tack tape and run through your die-cutting machine.

  2. On the inside of your card, adhere the striped paper as illustrated.

  3. Die-cut one doily in the white card and the sentiment from the collection.

  4. Die-cut a circle and several different sizes of flowers from the striped card.

  5. Die-cut the sentiment matt, several different sizes of flower and several leaves from the plain card.

  6. Cut several stamens and leaves from the black card.

  7. Place and adhere the doily in the centre of the striped card which is already adhered inside of your 8” x 8” card, and stick the cut-out striped circle in the centre of the doily.

  8. Layer the sentiment on to the plain coloured matt, add foam pads to the back of the matt to create dimension, and then adhere in the centre of the striped circle.

  9. Create 3-dimensional flowers by matting and layering the different sizes of die-cut flowers on top of each other, alternating the patterned card and using foam pads to add extra dimension.

  10. Adhere the leaves and stamens to the flowers, and then glue a pearl in the centre of each stamen for that extra-special finishing touch.

  11. Arrange the flowers around the aperture as you wish and then stick them down.

  12. Add an odd number of pearls to alternating corners of your card and then stick them down.

  13. Stand back and admire your creation.
