Use Chameleon Pens to colour in a Time for Tea Pawsome cat image to make a unique paw print card
Stamp the image onto card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Tip: Use card suitable for alcohol markers as it makes a lot of difference to the outcome of your colouring.
Begin by colouring the cat using NG4 which you fuse for 10 seconds. Start at the cat’s nose and in a circular motion colour in the face. Fuse for another 10 seconds and start from the neck to colour the body of the cat. Use PK3 and fuse for 3 seconds to colour in the ears and each of the paws.
For each of the balloons use PK5, GR3, BG3, V04 and YL2 and fuse them for 5 seconds each starting at the top of the balloons and working your way down horizontally.
Use the co-ordinating die to cut the coloured image out with your die cutting machine.
Take a 6” x 6” black card blank and cut a 5 ½ “ square from a piece of Darice Silver Glitter paper. Take a heart and small oval shaped die.
Place the heart and oval dies in the bottom right hand corner and pass through your die cutting machine. Pass the oval die through the machine 3 more times to make a paw print. Repeat the process to make another paw print on the top left hand corner.
To make the sentiment topper die cut a circle and stamp ‘mew are’ on the top and two paw prints on the bottom. On a pink strip of card stamp ‘Pawsome’ and cut fishtails on both sides. Use foam adhesive pads to adhere the pink strip to the circle as shown.
Assemble your card by using double sided tape behind the glitter paper and adhere to the black card base. Add foam tape to the image and stick to the bottom left hand corner. Add a foam adhesive pad to the sentiment you created and stick to the top right hand corner of your card as shown.
