Pearl Ccluster Bracelet

Pearl Cluster Bracelet

Get hooked on this simple crochet project from Charlie Mumford.

  • Knitting
  • < 1 hour
  • Beginner

Tools and materials required

  • Korbond DK acrylic yarn, white
  • Knitting needle
  • Scissors
  • White button
  • 4mm crochet hook
  • 10 pearl beads, mixed sizes: pink, champagne
  • Embroidery thread, white
  • Embroidery needle

Method

Attach your yarn to the hook and chain stitch enough stitches to fit comfortably around your wrist. A wrist measuring 6” requires 33 stitches for a snug fit, but adjust to fit and remember that the wool will stretch a little as you work and also after wear.

1

Skip the first stitch; this acts as a turning stitch. Dc into each stitch down one side until you reach the end.

2

Chain 1 (turning stitch) then dc into each stitch going back the way you came. Repeat this step five times making sure you do a turning stitch each time.

3

On the short (fastening), slip stitch one stitch along to centre your yarn. Now chain stitch 5, then slip stitch to the last stitch on the short to form your button loop. Fasten off and weave in the ends. This makes the basic bracelet.

4

Sew a button on the other end with white embroidery thread. Sew on a cluster of pearls in the middle of the bracelet using embroidery thread. Secure at the back.
