Wall Pinwheels and Paper Bunting

Papercraft your way to a perfect party this summer with the docrafts Floral folk collection. This bundle is packed full of products to help you create beautiful decorations for your celebration.

Materials

  • docrafts Folk Floral Decoration bundle
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Twine
  • Die Cutting Machine

Instructions

  1. Cut a 5cm wide strip of paper from the Folk Floral 12 x 12" paper pack.

  2. Pleat the strip in a concertina style then glue the ends together. (Add extra strips to make a fuller pinwheel if desired).

  3. Press the centre of the pinwheel down till it is flat and add a die-cut sentiment circle from the A4 Decoupage pack to the centre using hot glue.

  4. Turn the pinwheel over and add an identical circle to the centre.

  5. Add a length of Baker's twine inside one of the pleats using tacky glue.

Alternate fold for Hanging Pinwheel

  1. Take a 12 x 12" sheet of paper and pleat it from top to bottom.

  2. Tie a length of twine around the middle and knot it tightly.

  3. Spread out the pleats and where the edges meet, attach together with glue to form the circle.

Paper Bunting

  1. From the Folk Floral paper pack, die cut triangles using the large and medium sized scalloped bunting nesting dies.

  2. Punch holes in the top two corners of the large bunting flags only.

  3. Ink the scalloped edges of all the flags if desired then thread them on to Baker's twine.

  4. Glue the smaller bunting in to the centres of the larger bunting alternating the patterned papers.

  5. Tie loops in the ends of the twine to allow for hanging.
