Sarah Millsop’s DIY Ring Cone Jewellery Holder

Why hide your gorgeous handmade jewellery away, when you can create a lovely jewellery display? After all, you’re far more likely to wear all those stunning pieces if you can see them, rather than having to root through boxes and drawers to find something.

There are lots of pretty jewellery display options when it comes to keeping necklaces and bracelets within easy reach… rings however can be tricky to display prettily. Plastic trays don’t do rings justice, but some of the marble and concrete ring stands available today can be incredibly costly!

So why not make the most of your own decorative card stash, and get creative? Here’s how to make your very own ring display cone – an effective yet inexpensive way to create a bespoke display for your handmade rings!

  1. Print the template, and trace this shape out onto your selected card. You could use glitter card, floral printed card, or whatever you think would look the prettiest!

  2. For added personalisation, you can add a stamped design or hand drawn embellishment to your card before you roll it.

  3. With this size (perfect for rings) you can adapt the base width and therefore the height also. Simply roll it and secure the two seams together with glue or tape.
