What You Need

You Will Need:

  • Craftwork Cards Selfie Cards and Envelopes
  • Patterned Papers
  • Adhesive
  • Craft Knife
  • Ink Pads (409103) & Blending Tool
  • Glitter
  • Foam Pads
  • Gems

Instructions:

  1. You can use your selfie card blanks landscape or portrait, depending on the orientation of your selfie photo.

  2. There are many different ways to decorate your selfie card blank base. Try using pattern papers from your stash or buy papers with fun spots and stripes – choose designs that work with a colour or pattern in your photograph.

  3. Cover card blank with adhesive, adhere pattern paper, and then trim to size using a craft knife, following shape of card blank.

  4. You could also use ink pads and a blending tool to add colour to the white card base or if you want to add sparkle and shimmer, cover the card blank in adhesive and sprinkle loose glitter. It’ll be sure to give the WOW factor!

  5. Trim your selected photo slightly smaller than the card blank. Add adhesive around the edge of aperture on the inside of the card blank and attach your photo inside the front of the card blank.

  6. Now the fun begins! Take a selection of messages and selfie sayings from the sheet of die-cuts and attach to front of card using foam pads, adding dimension and interest.

  7. Colour the sayings to match your pattern paper or the colour of your decorated card blank using ink pads. Create some sparkle by adding sequins, gems or crystals to card front; glue in place.
