You Will Need:

  • Serenity Gardens Paper Collection by The Paper Boutique (Release on 12th September)
    • Card Stock
    • Embellishment Pad
    • 8x8” Paper Pad
    • A4 Inserts
  • 3 Tubs of Pinflair Bookbinding Glue and Spatula
  • Fiskars A4 Paper Trimmer
  • Double Sided Fingerlift Tape - 7 Rolls
  • Double-Sided Foam Sheets - 2mm Thick
  • Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad - Off White (Antique Linen)
  • Scissors
  • Ribbons

Instructions:

  1. Take a piece of A4 cardstock from the Serenity Garden Cardstock pack, and cut a piece which measures 7” x 4”, using your scoring board score on the landscape at 1”, 3 ¼”, 4 ¼” and 6 ½” then turn to portrait and score at 1”. Cut the small rectangle out in the bottom corner and the cut up the score lines to the 1” line to create the folds for the base of the box.

  2. Using an ink ( any colour which suits the cardstock) and just go over the edges to add some distress to the folds.

  3. Glue the box closed and then we can start to decorate the box.

  4. Using the 8x8” paper pad choose a sheet to suit the cardstock you have used and cut 2 panels out that measure 2” x 2 ¾” stick those to the front and back on the box, now take a piece of off cut matching colour toned card that measures 1” x 2” tie some ribbon around the panel and then fussy cut the flowers from the insert sheet which has lots of beautiful flowers on it. Attach these to the front of the box and now we can make the tags to go inside.

  5. To make the tags, you will need 4 plain card stock panels tha measure 4” x 2”, 4 decorative paper panels which measure 1 ¾” x 3 ¾”, 4 senitment panes from the Serenity Gardens Embellishment pad ( these will need to be trimmed down on the sides so that they fit on the tags, 4 fussy cut flowers from the insert sheet we used earlier and some ribbon to colour coordinate. I adhered the paper to the card and then used a single hole punch to make the hole for the ribbon and tied that on. To decorate I’ve used the flower with foam tape to lift it off the tag a bit and also used the foam pads to fix the sentiments are an angle too. 4 tags fit easily in the box and you can make these in any colour or design you like for each season and they make a great gift idea or to sell on your craft stands.
