This simply yet sweet 5-minute make is just perfect for spring and Easter. Featuring a gorgeous gilded hare atop minimalist kraft card, it’s an easy way to create a fun Easter card that’s bound to raise smiles. It’s such a quick and easy Easter project, you could create it with the kids too!
Apply a small amount of foiling adhesive directly to your chosen stamp using a sponge. Be sure to pat away the excess before printing the adhesive on to the 5” x 5” kraft cardstock.
Sprinkle gold gilding flakes over the sticky area, fixing them in place before buffing away the excess to leave a smooth and shiny finish.
Once your gilded hare is in place, you can also stamp your sentiment in black ink. Cover this with clear embossing powder, and heat to produce a high shine finish.
Around the base of the kraft cardstock, tie a length of jute string or ribbon, adding a bow for interest. Mount your cardstock to the 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” white card blank using double sided tape.
You can even create labels and tags using the same steps, to complement your card design!
Top Tip
When using gilding flakes, always open your tub inside a larger tub; this captures any flakes and allows you to easily contain them!
