Victorian Father Christmas

  • Christmas
  • < 1 hour
  • Beginner

Materials:

  • Joanna Sheen’s Victoria Christmas triple CD
  • Good quality white printer paper/card at least 160gsm preferable 250gsm
  • Snowflake die cuts
  • Any snowflake style embossing folder
  • Silver mirri board
  • Few self-adhesive crystals
  • 8" square white card blank plus extra white cardstock

Instructions

  1. Print out the sheet from the CD with the Santa topper and also print the co-ordinating backing paper.

  2. Mat the largest topper onto silver mirri and then the circular santa onto a scalloped (or plain) circle of the same silver card.

  3. Cut a strip off the backing paper, positioning the Santa icon bottom right that is about 2 ¼" wide and then mat that onto silver too. Now cut some white card about 4 ¾" x 7 ½" and run through an embossing folder, then mat onto silver.

  4. Now assemble the card. Take the card blank and chop 2 ¾" off the front cover. Adhere the strip of backing paper to the right hand side of the inside of the card as shown. Attach the embossed piece onto the main card front.

  5. Using foam tape or sticky pads add the main topper and a matted sentiment onto the card. Then add the little roundel. Finish by adding white snowflakes and adding a rhinestone/crystal in the centre of each one
