Make Your Own Screens Is A Simple 5 Step Process

Print your design on printable acetate.

In a low light area place the blank mesh on to the black plate with your printed design on top, add the plastic plate on top to complete your sandwich and pass the sandwich through the machine.

Submerge your mesh in to water.

In normal light, lightly brush the surface of the mesh to expose your design.

Allow to dry - and then you're ready to screen print!

Q. Is there a right or wrong way to use the screen?

A. No, they can be used either way unless the design is text/script.

Q. How many prints will I get from a 155ml pot of ink?

A. This will obviously depend on the screen used but we did a control with the Ebb and Flow screen and managed to get 140 prints from the pot of ink.

Q. What is the extender for?

A. The extender can be used to thin the ink which will make it go further and also if you add varying amounts of coloured ink to the extender you can mix different transparencies of colour.

Q. What mediums will it work on?

A. Screen Sensation is a multi-purpose ink that works on paper,card, fabric, plastics, metal, glass and ceramics.
