I’ve been involved in arts and crafts as long as I can remember, dabbling in many different types of craft over the years.
During a 2-year art and design course at college, I completed many disciplines including drawing, painting (watercolour, gauche, oil, acrylic) screen printing, photography, CAD and ceramics.
I started cardmaking about 15 years ago when I couldn't find any cards I liked for my 4 brothers and my Dad, and I was then asked to make cards for friends and family… so I decided to try selling my cards at craft fairs! I continue to sell at craft fairs, but have now moved more into home decor items, which I love. I would say my style is simplistic, and non-fussy, but I also love shabby chic/vintage style, which I used when designing and making my wedding stationery.
I love to teach crafting, and I'm lucky enough work as a demonstrator, showing different techniques and crafts. I'm delighted to be part of the team at Create & Craft too - this allows me to share my knowledge and experience with those who are just as passionate about crafting as I am! My hope is to teach and inspire others to get involved in their chosen craft… and discover all the fun to be had by getting creative!

If you craft with PVA glue, plug the end of your bottle with blue-tac and it won't dry up!
