About Tracey Collett

As a lover of all things crafty, I have been crafting since I was small; my parents were both creative people, so I just started to pick up techniques and create things! When my eldest son was born (18 years ago) I started making jewellery for friends and family, and went onto create wedding stationery after working in the events department at a local hotel. My daughter came along in 2009, and I took a step back from weddings to focus on cardmaking and other new crafts, which is when my love for all things crafty really took over!

I have been very lucky to both work for craft companies, and also be able to become self-employed doing what I love. I joined the Kanban Crafts Design Team in 2013, and have made many samples and demos for their shows. I became a freelance demonstrator for Docrafts in November 2017, and then I responded to a social media plea on Facebook for new Create & Craft guests and sample-makers… and here I am!

Since I joined the team, I have been busy behind the scenes making samples for companies like Fabscraps and AC Moore to just name a few, and recently I’ve had the pleasure to work with Memory Box and their amazing dies and stamps during my Create & Craft TV debut! I have had a blast so far, and highly recommend people follow their crafty dreams, as that’s exactly what I did, and I’m loving every minute of it!
