valentines crafts for him

Six Valentine's Day Craft Ideas

We've collated six of our favourite Valentine's Day crafts to inspire you to create the perfect gift for the special person in your life

1. Heart-shaped cookie hangings

If your partner loves baked treats, decorate your home for a romantic night in by hanging heart-shaped cookies around the house. Create a hole in the uncooked dough for a ribbon by pushing a straw through each cookie before popping them in the oven. Once the goodies are ready, dot them around your home and watch your partner enjoy your delicious bakes.

2. Custom beer bottles

Add a special touch to your partner’s favourite drinks with custom labels that can be attached to ale and cider bottles. Think of unique quotes or special messages , print them out on cardstock, then affix them to each bottle before placing them in the fridge.

3. Herb garden

If your partner loves gardening, create a DIY herb garden that he'll nurture. Start by upcycling a miniature plant pot by painting it white or blue, or both! Affix a special message on the pots' exterior using coloured glue or stamps before placing your loved one's favourite plant inside.

4. Date night gift box

Fancy putting a twist on date night? Decoupage a small wooden box, gather a few gift tags and use your calligraphy skills to write a number of pre-planned, pre-paid date night suggestions. Hang them inside the box using ribbons and glue, and watch your partner's face light up as he reads each one.

5. Hot water bottle

Keep your man warm on spring nights by felting one of his old woolly jumpers and making it into a cosy hot water bottle cover. He'll be thankful for this thoughtful, fashionable gift.

6. Photo frame

A picture is worth a thousand words, so why not frame a memorable shot of you and your partner? Use thin strips of coloured paper to quill flowers of your choice. Attach them to an old photo frame and voila! You've got a beautifully-decorated item that your man will adore.
