When will my credit/debit card be charged?

The first down payment is made when you place your order and the remaining payments will be taken in subsequent monthly installments.

When do I pay for shipping and handling?

Shipping and handling is paid in full with the down payment.

Can I change my billing date?

Billing dates for future installments cannot be customized or changed.

When is Flexi-pay available?

The option to pay by Flexi-pay is offered by Create and Craft in respect of specific products only and may be limited to a particular show or time period. Create and Craft customers can choose to pay by Flexi-pay online or by speaking with our Customer Services team on 1-855-246-9999.

What happens if I order some products on Flexi-pay and some non-Flexi-pay products at the same time?

If you have some Flexi-pay and some non-Flexi-pay items on the same order you may be offered the opportunity to pay for all products by Flexi-pay. If you don't want to do this or if you are not offered this option you will pay for any non-Flexi-pay items in full when you place your order.

What if I order two Flexi-pay products at the same time but with different payment schedules?

If you order two products at the same time but with different payment schedules (a two and a three month term for example), you will be given the choice of paying for both over the longer time period if you want to.

Can I choose how many installments to pay by?

If you are ordering two products at the same time with different payment schedules, you can choose to pay both over the longest schedule (see above) However, apart from this the number of installments will be set by Create and Craft when we make the products available to you.

Who is eligible for Flexi-pay?

All customers are eligible to use Flexi-pay when it is offered by us, however we reserve the right to refuse to allow payment by Flexi-pay.

How do I pay?

Flexi-pay installments must be paid with a credit or debit card. At this time Maestro Debit cards and PayPal are not supported for payment by Flexi-pay, however you may pay for a product in full using a Maestro card or PayPal. We take payment of the first installment and shipping and handling when you place your order and we will collect payment of subsequent installments automatically from this card (on dates detailed in a letter that will be sent to you confirming your Flexi-Pay plan details) till the order is fully paid. We will only accept the card if the expiry date is after the date your last Flexi-pay installment is due. We will not accept payment by check.

Can I use Discount Coupons?

If you wish to use a discount coupon on Flexi-pay, we will spread the discount proportionally across the eligible items in your basket reducing the item cost and then calculate the Flexi-pay schedule accordingly.

Can I change the credit/debit card I use to pay my Flexi-pay installments?

Yes. If you contact our Customer Services department, we can update the credit or debit card details held for you. If you change your card details while you have any Flexi-pay installments outstanding, then the next installment(s) due will be taken when you register your new card with us even if this is earlier than when the installment is otherwise due. This ensures that the credit or debit card details have been validated.

How do I settle the account early?

Please contact a member of the Customer Services team on 1-855-246-9999, who will be able to take payment from you for your remaining installments in one go and without penalty.

What happens if I miss a payment?

We understand that sometimes mistakes happen. If we attempt to take a payment and your bank declines it, we will send you a letter to let you know. We will attempt to take payment again 14 days after the original installment date. However if your card is declined again, we may, subject to state law, charge up to $20.00 plus tax administration fee to your outstanding balance and this will be payable immediately along with your missed installment. This will also result in the suspension of your account with Create and Craft.

What happens if the third attempt to take payment fails?

We will attempt to charge a payment three times before handing it over to a third party debt collection agency. If a third attempt to charge a payment is declined, we may, subject to state law, charge an additional $20.00 plus tax administration fee to your account. If you have still not paid, we may, subject to state law, charge a further $20.00 plus tax administration fee to cover the costs of transferring your file to a debt collection agency and subsequent debt management. All outstanding payments due for your items (the missed payments plus any future payments otherwise due at a later date) will be payable immediately in full, together with the combined $60.00 plus tax administration fee.

What happens if I need to return an item paid for with Flexi-pay?

In the unlikely event that you have to return an item, we will refund your card for the amount you have paid so far for that item excluding shipping and handling (unless the item is faulty). If your order was for more than one Flexi-pay item and you still have further installments to pay, then we will adjust your schedule accordingly and notify you by letter.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: See the Flexi-pay

Details on the Product Page If a product is available on Flexi-Pay you will see it on the Product Page. To find out which Flexi-Pay options are offered for an item, simply click on the 'Flexi-Pay Details' tab on the Product Page. You'll see what Flexi-Pay Plan options there are, how many payment installments you'll need to make, and the amount of each installment.

Step 2: Flexi-Cart

Once you've added one Flexi-pay item to your cart, you can add others (Even if they're not on Flexi-Pay). These additional items will also be included in your Flexi-pay plan*.

* Please check your cart before you check out, as some items may not be available for Flexi-cart.

Step 3: Select Your Flexi-pay Items in the Checkout

Once you've added your items to your cart and reached the checkout, you'll be taken to an Order Confirmation page. Under Payment Options, select 'Add Flexi-Pay to my order'.

If you have some Flexi-Pay and some non-Flexi-Pay items on the same order, you may be offered the opportunity to pay for all products by Flexi-Pay through Flexi-cart.

If you don't want to do this, or if you're not offered this option, you'll pay for any non-Flexi-pay items in full when you place your order.

If you order two products at the same time but with different payment schedules - for example, a two-month and a three-month term - you'll automatically be given the choice of paying for both products over the longer time period.

Once you have decided which item(s) you would like to include in Flexi-Pay, you then Choose Your Plan and confirm your Flexi-Pay Options.

Step 4: Confirm Your Selection and down payment

Read through your cart Summary to check that Flexi-pay has been applied and that your down payment (made with your order), is what you expect.

If you order over the phone, our Customer Services adviser will confirm your plan.

Step 5: Payment

Flexi-pay installments must be paid with a credit or debit card. At this time Maestro Debit cards and PayPal are not supported for payment by Flexi-pay.

We take payment of the first installment, plus postage and packaging, when you place your order, then subsequent monthly installments automatically from the same card until the order is fully paid.

Please note: If the credit or debit card you used to pay Flexi-pay installments is lost, stolen, or cancelled, you must contact Customer Services so we can update your Flexi-pay account.

Step 6: Confirmation of Your Purchase and Flexi-pay Amounts Schedule

You'll receive a letter through the post, detailing your purchase and confirming payment amounts and the dates they'll be taken from your credit/debit card. You'll know exactly what you'll be paying, and when.
