This project creates a beautiful love card, which is quick and easy to make. The contrast of the black cardstock and the metallic adhesive sheets makes this card really stand out!
Start by die cutting the largest frame die from the docrafts Heart Frame Die Set in the pale pink adhesive sheet.
Next, die cut the cerise adhesive sheet using the heart outline die from the die set.
Then, using the red adhesive sheet, die cut the large ornate heart section from the die set.
Die cut 4 small hearts using the smallest die in the set using the red adhesive sheet.
Cut the black cardstock to create a base layer on the front of the card blank.
Attach the heart frame layer to the front of the card; this can be done by peeling the back of the adhesive away.
Next, attach the heart outline frame section to the card front by peeling the back of the adhesive heart away; you will find this sits nicely inside the previous layer.
Then peel the back of the ornate heart away and attach to the card front, inside the previous layer.
Take the 4 small hearts and fold each one in half.
Peel the adhesive back away from the hearts and match up the back of each heart half to another heart half. Do this with all 4 hearts to build a 3D heart.
Add the small 3D heart to the centre of all the layers.
Add the bow to finish the card.
