Dragonfly Card

Send springtime wishes with this heartfelt make using the die-cutting technique.

You will need:

  • Die-cutting machine
  • Cardstock: striped purple, lilac, white, blue, green, coral
  • Dragonfly die
  • Sentiment
  • Embellishments: pearls, ribbon, twine and tag
  • Foam pads
  • Adhesives


  1. Create a 8cm x 14.5cm top folding card blank. Cut a 7cm x 13.5cm striped purple card and mount onto a 7.5cm x 14cm lilac card.

  2. Attach a length of ribbon to lace, fix onto the card securing the ends at the back, then glue the panel onto the front of the card.

  3. Die-cut a floral oval from white card and an oval shape from lilac card. Glue the lilac oval onto the white shape.

  4. Die-cut the dragonfly from blue card, the vine from green, flowers from coral shades and glue in place.

  5. Use foam pads to attach the oval design to the card.

  6. Tie a bow with twine, glue on the tag sentiment and attach with more pads. Add pearls to each corner.
