Looking for a fun way to create adorable Easter fingerprint cards? This super-cute, super-quick Easter card project from Hannah Oxberry features adorable Easter fingerprint art the little ones will love creating.
Pop some plain white card on the table, and encourage your kids to finger print in yellow paint. The idea is to get some lovely splodges that can be turned in to chicks!
Once the finger prints are dry; frame the card stock in fine black pen, adding to the cartoon style.
In black pen, add details to the finger prints to give them baby chick features. Add triangles of washi tape along one corner to give the appearance of bunting. Along the top of the of the washi tape bunting, glue bakers twine.
Add another bunting effect to the other top corner by using bakers twine and multi coloured pom poms, gluing them securely in place.
For the sentiment on the inside of the card, create dot lettering spelling out “Happy Easter”. Your children can have fun with colouring pencils, joining the dots to form the words. Tie bakers twine in the same colour as used on the front of the card along one side, and finish in a bow.
Mount your sentiment on foam pads to the inside of the card, matting and layering with kraft card.
To finish, mount your card front on foam pads and mat and layer with kraft card.
