Follow Ann-Marie Vaux’s steps to make this gorgeous project. Square panels surround the paper florals to give this card an arty feel.
Cut out a layer of patterned paper to fit the card front and attach it to the card, using flat tape or a glue runner
Using the 50x50mm square layering die, cut out 9 squares from the Mid Green cardstock
Then cut out 9 squares using the 42x42mm die from the Kraft coloured cardstock
Die cut 16 flowers in one of your patterned papers, that is a contrast paper to the one used for the card base.
Then punch out 8 smaller floral shapes in the same Mid Green cardstock as used in the base squares.
Punch out 8 of the smallest floral shape in patterned paper, this is the same as the base layer paper.
Use Pearl drops on the smallest flower petal shapes, just adding one dot in the centres, then let dry approx 30-40minutes.
Take 8 of the larger flower shapes and scrunch them all up into a ball and then carefully reopen then
Ink the edges of the other 8 of the larger flowers
Pinch the petals of the Mid Green flowers that you have punched/die cut out
Take each of the flower die cuts, the large inked flower, the large crumpled flower, the pinched green flower and the small flower with a pearl drop on
Using wet glue stack the flower layers together to create a flower
Create all the flowers
Using brown ink stamp a sentiment onto one of the Kraft card squares
Then on the same Kraft square add a icon stamp or 3, then using a red pen, colour in the Icon. I used a small heart that worked really well with this design.
Add a Icon stamp onto 3 of the Kraft card squares, I stamped in all 4 corners of the squares.
Using brown ink, blend ink around the edges of the Kraft card squares
Add flat glue to the back of the Mid Green Squares and start adding them to the card front, try and space them evenly.
When all the Mid Green squares are positioned on the card front
Next repeat the same method with 8 of the Kraft card squares, use flat glue and attach them over the top of 8 of the Mid Green squares, leaving one of the Mid Green squares blank
Add 3D foam to the back of the stamped sentiment square
Then attach the stamped sentiment to the blank square on the card front
Using wet glue add the flowers to each of the blank squares on the card front
