Pair your Couture dies with sweet stamped images from My Sentiments Exactly — they’re a perfect fit and make for an easy card design with plenty of cheer. What’s even better? My Sentiments Exactly gives you “innies and outies” — sentiments for the outside of the card, along with coordinating sentiments for the inside. (Of course, we think a Couture label die is the perfect frame for the inside of the card — take a look!)
You can use any stamping block with these clear acrylic stamps… but I’m in love with the Load ’N’ Fold stamping tool. Not only does it make it easy to get perfect positioning for my stamps, but it also provides even pressure — so much more comfortable and easier on my hands and wrists!
It’s easy to use: Just use low-tack tape to secure your cardstock on one side of the tool, then place your clear stamps on the other side. Ink the stamp, close the tool, then open to find a perfectly stamped image.
Use the Load ’N’ Fold to stamp the bunny with umbrella and the small bird onto white card.
Use the Couture lace frame to die cut around the stamped image, then cut a scalloped frame from lime card. Glue the two together. Colour the image with markers. Colour the bunny grey and the bird light blue. Add pink ears. Colour the umbrella yellow and add light grey along the edges of the umbrella and along the left side of the bunny.
Stamp “Hang on Tight” with black ink at the bottom of a square card base.
Die cut two blue lacy accents and two pink scalloped accents. Glue each lacy accent onto a scalloped accent.
For the card front: Glue a strip of black card across the centre of the card base. Glue the accents on either side of the stamped focal. Tie a knot in check ribbon and glue to the top of the image.
For the card inside: Use the scalloped label to die cut a piece of white card, then stamp the sentiment and bird with black. Use a light blue marker to colour the bird.
Die cut a pink lacy label and glue behind the stamped label. Glue a vertical strip of black cardstock inside the card, then add the pink label.
