Season’s greetings needn’t be reserved for Christmas Day alone… add wintry couture style to a handmade New Year’s card, and embrace the excitement of celebrating what’s to come! Experiment with different font styles to create your message; you could choose a stamped sentiment, a handwritten one, or computer journaling to add your text.
Print out the green trees and green boughs patterned papers from the Season's Greetings CD ROM.
Fold a single sheet of kraft card to form a 15cm x 21cm card base. Next, cut a strip of green trees paper (printed from the CD ROM) and mount onto white, then green card. Once complete, glue this strip vertically to the front of the kraft card. Wrap green ribbon around the front of the card, as shown.
Cut a strip of green boughs paper (printed from the CD ROM) and mat onto white, then green card. Glue this horizontally across the card front, slipping underneath the ribbon.
Place the snowflake and border die together atop white card. Secure with repositionable tape, and die cut.
Glue the snowflake to the card front, and add the rhinestones for a touch of eye-catching sparkle.
Computer journal your message onto white card, then mount this onto green card, and glue to the card front as shown. For a pretty finishing touch add a bow tied in green ribbon.
