Make A Washi Tape Notebook

Notebooks needn’t be drab – here’s a quick and easy tutorial showing you exactly how to bring an old notebook to life with Washi Tape!.

You will need:

  • Notebook
  • Washi Tape
  • Rhinestones
  • Paperclips
  • Ribbon
  • Printed or stamped sentiment
  • PVA glue
  • Foam Pads
  • Scissors

    Make A Washi Tape Notebook

    Cover the front of your notebook in white card, then add lines of washi tape to dress the front.

    Trim the page edges of the notebook with the washi tape using half the width on the front of the page and tucking the remaining underneath. Continue this process until all pages are covered.

    Cut a 2-inch length of washi tape and wrap it around the end of a paperclip, then trim the end. Add to the notebook.

    Make a topper for the notebook with a sentiment of your choice, matting this onto a piece of card that has been trimmed with co-ordinating washi tape.

    Wrap a piece of ribbon around the notebook to keep it closed, using foam pads to affix the topper with the sentiment. Finish with some rhinestones.
