Shadow Box by Denise Holmes

This is a pretty project to make whether for a gift or as a keepsake for yourself.

  • Papercraft and Scrapbooking
  • 1-2 hours
  • Beginner

You Will Need:

  • Anna Marie Designs 8x8 shadow Box with frames
  • Anna Marie Designs Garden Bloom 7x7 Pad Blue
  • Anna Marie Designs MDF Hearts
  • Create and Craft foam pads
  • Double sided Tape
  • Acrylic Paint white
  • White Card

  1. Paint all elements of the frame needed first.

  2. Cut a piece of white card to fit just inside the back of the box

  3. Using the paper pad, choose a page for your background.

  4. Decide how many frames you want to use and if using a photo, place frame around photo using double sided tape. I used one frame over some text and one frame over a photo.

  5. Adhere these to your background paper.

  6. Embellish using fussy cut elements from the papers in the pad raised on to foam pads for dimension.

  7. Cover an MDF heart using paper from the paper pad.

  8. Once you are happy with the page, adhere to back of box frame.

  9. Assemble box frame and decorate further if you wish, I added a flower at the top left corner.
